Andrew Thomas, CEO

Passionate and highly motivated, Andrew founded Thomas Duryea with three others at 23 years of age. Today, Andrew leads the strategic direction of the company and is an active participant in the Australian IT industry.
Outside of work, Andrew can be found with his two other passions; charity and the great outdoors. Andrew is dedicated to causes such as the St. Vinnies CEO Sleepout, Ride for MS and he is also an Ambassador for the underprivileged children’s charity, Ozchild.
A diehard adrenaline junkie, Andrew has run the Melbourne Marathon, climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, crossed the Simpson Desert by dirt bike and trekked both the Andes and the Himalayas. Andrew has his sights next set on Elbrus.
Erez Grushka, National Sales Manager
Working in partnership with customers to find the best fit solution is my aim.
Erez Grushka is a passionate sales manager who has been with Thomas Duryea Consulting for three years. Erez has worked in the IT infrastructure market for over 20 years across both Australia and South Africa.
Erez is responsible for outlining the sales strategy, managing the sales team nationally and working with vendors to execute key initiatives.
Outside of work, Erez can be found with his family, often playing on the golf course with his son.

Mary Karolyi, CFO, Head of Corporate Services

My passion is ensuring the wheels are turning and we are financially set up for success.
Mary Karolyi is a highly ambitious businesswoman who heads up the corporate services department at Thomas Duryea. With 14 years experience in accounting and finance, she is CA qualified and holds a Fellow of the Tax Institute of Australia and membership with the Australian Institute of Management (AIM). Mary is well equipped to oversee the finance, administration and human resources functions.
Mary’s achievements have been publicly recognised, having been awarded the ICAA Australian President’s Prize for contribution to the profession in 2009.
Outside of work Mary can often be found with her nieces and nephews, cycling or shopping for a new addition to her wardrobe of high heels.
Micah Smith, Director of Services
Working to ensure that the practices are moving in the right direction and aligning to our vision is my goal.
One of the four original founders, Micah is also extremely passionate and has a natural drive for success. Originally an engineer, Micah has 10 years of experience. Micah also has deep experience in Desktop & Helpdesk Support, SOE Environment Management, Outsourcing, Project Management, System Integration, Acquisitions, Messaging (Email Systems), Third Party Management, General Consulting, Administration (onsite & remote), Hardware advise & selection, Procurement, Asset Management, Backup Strategy, Business Continuity Planning and Hardware upgrades.
Today, Micah oversees both the product management office and the services arms of Thomas Duryea Consulting and ensures that each of the practices are on track against targets.
Outside of work, Micah’s passions are his family and the great outdoors. Micah loves skiing, mountain bike riding, swimming and walking.
